[starttext]Découvrez la vidéo Kate Middleton and Prince William still had their island tans when they
participated in their annual St. Patrick's Day tradition of visiting the
Irish Guards in Aldershot, England, on Monday. This is the Duchess of
Cambridge's third time taking part in the festivities, but she changed
things up a bit this time around by ditching her usual green Emilia
Wickstead coat (which she had worn two years in a row) for a festive
Hobbs coat and matching Gina Foster hat. She also kept with her new
"princess" makeover by accessorizing with a Cartier shamrock brooch
which was first worn by Queen Alexandra, the consort of King Edward VII.
The duke and duchess pinned shamrocks onto the guards, including their
Irish wolfhound mascot, Domhnall, who got a bonus pat on the head from
Kate.
